I guess the music kind of enhances my hilarity towards this, but it wasn't the main reason I laughed so hard. I just love how the kid's facial expression never changes even after he pulls the trigger. It's too goddamn funny.

Not bad for a first level test run. Making a full game out of it might be interesting. Of course, more obstacles and different log moving patterns will be expected out of it. Maybe even some hanging obstacles from the jungle trees, like some sort of vines or snakes. Maybe even make the vines part of the mission to get across the quicksand pits, kind of like Pitfall. Either way, this is a good start.

Okay, so the animation wasn't the best, but the execution of it was well done. The classic horse joke that never gets old gave me a laugh with the way you animated it. Nice work.

Not for the fact that it was a slideshow, but all the artwork of the various locks was just downright stupendous. Every little detail and every bit of shading seemed to be flawless. It was pretty amazing too how you had a wide array of characters though, too. That's what made each piece of lock art that much more stupendous to me.

Orbis Venatus was a very enjoyable game to play. I'm not usually a big fan of maze games, but this one seemed to have a different aspect to it that really kept me playing it.
I liked all the different level designs, not to mention all the little nooks and crannies thrown in there to make the game more difficult as you continue on. They were simple, but challenging nonetheless. As for the music, the selections that you used really seemed to gel well with the game's design.
Overall, it was an enjoyable game to play.

Just for future installments of this, you'll probably want enemies, obviously. Also, it'd be nice if you could add a sound effect to the coins every time you collect one. Another thing is music selection. Try and select something that fits the style of the game better. That song you had didn't fit the bill at all. Otherwise, I see it has having some potential.

It certainly was a different game than I expected to play. I just thought there'd be a little more to it. It's still a fun game. Anything that involves searching for something in a picture is a fun game. The thing I thought the most highly of in the game was the music selection. It seemed to fit very well with the pictures you look through in the game. It kind of makes you think you're going down a stream exploring the wilderness. Nice work.

"A Different Perspective on this Game."
When I first started playing this game, I was like just about everybody else. I thought it was WAY too hard, even on the lowest difficulty. I was so frustrated by that, I didn't even want to play it really.
However, after taking a little more time and playing it, I've realized it's not that bad of a game after all. Sure, it still may be hard, but who doesn't like a challenge?
For those of you who are complaining about it being too hard, just keep saving up your blood orbs to upgrade your sword. It makes for an easier time once you build up your sword a few levels, no matter what difficulty the game is on. And for the first level, I'd recommend using the shotgun over the dual pistols. They cause a lot more damage, in my view.
For those of you who don't want to get caught up in a glitch, I suggest you read the user Wylo's FAQ of the game on his userpage. It'll help you avoid frustrations of getting through a level, only to have it glitch or freeze on you.
But anyways, overall, the game was pretty cool to play. Good graphics and such, and some good gameplay. Obviously the glitches and bugs are a problem, which kind of throws people off the game. Regardless though, I've found a new appreciation for this game I didn't start off with.

I've played a lot of Tetris games on here before. I'm sorry to say that this one isn't as special as any of the others I've played. Sure, the background and shape designs are cool, and the gameplay is okay, but that's about it. The doodling hand is more annoying than anything, and it tends to interfere with the shapes coming down. Also, get some sound effects in there. A game isn't all that fun unless you have sound to go along with it so you have an idea of what's going on.

thanks for giving me somepointers to work on instead of just blamming it like some others

I know the octopus on the left is bigger, but how in the hell is he supposed to beat the octopus on the right when he's in a box? Clear disadvantage to the octopus on the left.
Gave me a laugh, by the way.
